Description of Warm-up: Fit Bit

This session, the main focus was our Fitness Test. (Table above) I completed various exercise and tried to do as many repetitions as I could with only a minute.

What I enjoyed about this session was just giving everything a go and pushing through to not give up. I enjoyed the Fitness test because I’ve never tested how many repetitions I could do in a minute. I also felt more motivated because I wasn’t doing it alone and I had someone to suffer with

The only thing that I didn’t enjoy this session was not having a mat to do the exercises on. That’s because I feel like we all would’ve done better.

During the exercises I felt like giving up but if my instructor could do it, then I can. I thought of ways for me to to motivate myself by telling myself to keep going or not to think how my brother would mock me if he saw me giving up. After my fitness test I felt proud because I did the best I could at the time and felt more motivated to do better on the next one. My body felt so much better and I wanted to do more.

Next week I want to be able to keep up my pace during the exercises but most importantly being aware of how I do it so that I don’t injure myself. I want to be able to keep up with my instructor and just to break a sweat.

Introduction

My name is Kazh Aplaten and i’m 15 years old. I’m 155 cm and at the moment i’m pretty active. From the very beginning I’ve always been very active whether it be playing sports or just running around. The time I felt the most active was in Year 3, I was in the Netball and the Rugby Team, I also got involved in after school soccer and lunch time activities. I’ve always really enjoyed sports with my friends and just being outside.

Fast forward to when I turned 13, my brother and I would would exercise together as we were less active than we used to. We still do today and it has really helped me improve my strength and my health. What I really enjoy about fitness is that it’s a really fun way of getting fit and even better when you’ve got someone to do it with you. My fitness goal is for me to be more active through out the day and to choose what I eat wiseley. I want to be able to improve my strength and flexibility.
